My Studio Process
Ed/itioned Concept & Mission:
Limited edition and one-of-a-kind styles for your home and wardrobe with a fine art twist! The name "Editioned" sprang from Liz's experience as a collograph printmaker and each piece is truly a functional work of art that comes with a signed and numbered authentication card and title. Inspired by nature, Editioned began with organic materials like shells, and pressed florals preserved in resin.
Liz is currently working to expand this offering to include small batch silk scarves featuring floral compositions arranged and photographed on canvas. She continues to skill gather through the exploration of related techniques such as eco-dying and block printing among other pursuits. In all of these projects, Liz's mission is to bring the customer hand-touched, distinctive styles that will stand the test of time.
Liz recently moved back to the Philadelphia area after relocating to Southern California in 2018. As a fine artist she has worked in a variety of modes including installation and avant-garde wearables with a focus on body image and sense of self. In addition to her MFA, she holds two undergraduate degrees including an Associate’s degree in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Bucknell University. Locally she is best known for owning a women’s plus-size clothing store called Fresh Ayer (2007- 2012 in Wayne, PA), which earned multiple awards and was recognized as an early proponent of body positive fashion.
