About
Maker/ Artist Elizabeth Ayerle
Liz is an artist & former fashion entrepreneur with an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. In her shop she hopes to combine her experience as a boutique owner with her work in the fine arts by producing small run and limited edition items for your home and wardrobe.
Edition/ed Concept & Mission:
Limited edition and one-of-a-kind styles for your home and wardrobe! The name "Editioned" sprang from my experience as a print-maker, each piece is titled, signed and numbered. I work mainly with epoxy resin on home and wearable items but am continuously striving to expand into new mediums. In all of my projects, the mission is to bring customers distinctive and functional works of art.
Liz Bio:
As a fine artist I have worked in a variety of modes, including print making, installation art and avant-garde wearables. I hold an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, a BA in Art History from Bucknell University & a post-graduate Associate’s degree in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design. Prior to my life as a fine artist I was best known for owning a women’s plus-size clothing store called Fresh Ayer (2007- 2012 in Wayne, PA), which earned multiple awards and was recognized as an early proponent of body positive fashion.
